The villa was designed by Mr Chulathat Kittibutr, a famous, award-winning top Thai architect who
designed the Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai and specializing in northern Thai “modern Lanna” style.
This 10 meters by 10 meters square shape modern Lanna punya style bungalow with a unique pyramid
shape roof of terracotta tiles, is decorated with numerous pieces of tasteful original artworks of
contemporary Southeast Asian artists and has been featured in the coffee table book THE BEST OF
CHIANG RAI and the lifestyle magazine TROPICAL HOUSES.

UNIQUE INTERIOR DESIGN
It is fully furnished in a comfortable tropical style, ready to live in, with big comfortable rattan sofa set, 6
rattan dining chairs with a Chinese style dark glass round turntable plus relaxing antique teak wood
chairs and table. There are wall-to-ceiling closets in the bedrooms. Other modern amenities and
facilities including in-room Mitsubishi air-conditioners, a simple functional kitchen with two Toshiba
refrigerators, mini-oven and microwave, plus fiber optic broadband/WiFi, and a sheltered car park for two
cars a meter away from the side door into the kitchen.
Total usable areas are 200sq. meters (10mx10m) with 100sq. meters on each floor with solid teakwood
flooring. There is a big balcony on the second floor overlooking a restful perennial green garden as well
as an open air teakwood terrace on the ground floor front yard surrounded by tropical flowering plants,
bamboo, frangipani, pine and maple trees providing a natural habitat for plenty of wild birds, butterflies,
dragon flies and fireflies.

UNIQUE LOCATION & SETTING
Situated near Mae Kok River and Chiang Rai Beach next to the Mengrai Maharaj Army Base, the house
borders the army base on the opposite side of a small river, Kok Noi flowing past in front of the villa. The
Army Golf Club is nearby and open to any outsiders. There is a large public fitness park at the beach that
is currently being upgraded. It’s only 3km from downtown city center or Clock Tower or only about 5
minutes by car or motorcycle.
